VASELINE x OCEANUS INSTAGRAM GIVEAWAY TERMS & CONDITIONS (“PROMOTION”)

1. This promotion is open to residents of the United Kingdom, aged 18 years or over at the date of entry.

2. The following are not eligible to enter this Promotion: employees of the Promoter or Oceanus, their families, agents or anyone professionally connected with the promotion, including any agency or third party engaged in the administration or fulfilment of this Promotion.

How to Enter

3. To enter, during the Promotion Period: follow both @vaselineuk and @oceanus on Instagram, like the giveaway post published on the @vaselineuk Instagram account which is a collaborative post by @vaselineuk and @oceanus (the "Giveaway Post"); and tag a friend in the comments of the Giveaway Post. Tagging a friend does not enter that friend into the promotion. To enter, they must complete all the entry steps mentioned above themselves.

4. The promotion opens at 18:00 BST on 11 October 2026 and closes at 23:59 BST on 18 October 2026 (the "Promotion Period"). Entries received outside the Promotion Period will not be valid.

5. No purchase necessary; internet access and a valid Instagram account are required.

Entry Requirements

6. Entrants may enter more than once and there is no limit on the number of entries per Instagram account. Each comment that tags a different Instagram user will count as a separate entry. Repeated comments that tag the same Instagram user will only count as one entry. Each entrant may only use one Instagram account to enter.

7. No applications from agents, third parties, organised groups or applications automatically generated by computer will be accepted. No incomplete or corrupted entries will be accepted. Entries will only be accepted if they comply with all entry instructions. The Promoter may disqualify any entry it reasonably believes was made using fake or multiple accounts, bots or other automated means, or which is otherwise in breach of these terms and conditions.

8. Entries received in connection with this promotion may be reviewed by the Promoter or a third-party moderator after they have been posted online to confirm they comply with these terms and conditions. If any entry is, or could reasonably be considered to be, unlawful, offensive or contrary to these terms and conditions, the Promoter may remove it from the Giveaway Post immediately and disqualify it. The Promoter reserves the right to delete or remove any published entries from the Giveaway Post at any time without prior notice to entrants.

9. The Promoter is not responsible for entries that are not received or cannot be viewed because of technical faults, Instagram outages, account restrictions or any other reason outside its reasonable control.

Prizes

10. There is one (1) prize and there will be one (1) winner. The winner will receive one code redeemable against one Oceanus Azure Reef Blue Mini dress (with an approximate retail value of £990) on https://oceanusthelabel.com/ (the "Prize"). The code will be supplied by Oceanus.

11. If, at the time of redemption, the dress is not available in the winner's chosen size, Oceanus will make the dress to order in the winner's chosen size within two (2) weeks of the order being placed and will then send it to the winner.

12. The code will be valid until 31 December 2026, must be redeemed on https://oceanusthelabel.com/, and will cover the full price of the dress (including standard UK delivery). Redemption is subject to Oceanus's standard terms of sale, which will be provided to the winner with the code

13. The code will be sent to the winner, free of charge, by Oceanus to the email address they provide, within 30 days of the winner confirming their details. There is no cash alternative, and the Prize is non-transferable, non-refundable and cannot be exchanged. If something happens that is outside the Promoter's reasonable control, the Promoter may replace the Prize with an alternative of equal or greater value

Selection of Winners

14.  The winner will be selected at random from all valid entries received during the Promotion Period, using a computer process that produces verifiably random results, within 5 working days of the close of the Promotion Period. In the event of any dispute, the Promoter's decision on all matters relating to the promotion will be final.

15.  The winner will be notified by Instagram direct message from the official @vaselineuk account within 7 days of the winner selection. To claim the Prize, the winner must reply to the direct message within 7 days of notification, confirming their full name and email address and county of residence. If the winner does not reply in time, cannot be contacted or is not eligible, they will lose the Prize. The Promoter may then select a substitute winner at random in the same way.

16.  The Promoter will only contact the winner from the official @vaselineuk Instagram account. It will never ask entrants to make a payment, share bank or card details or passwords, or click on external links to claim the Prize. Entrants should ignore and report any account claiming to be the Promoter that asks for this.

17.  The Promoter will make the winner's surname and county available to anyone who asks by emailing georgia.withers@unilever.com within one month after the close of the Promotion Period. If the winner objects to all or part of their surname and county being made available, they should contact georgia.withers@unilever.com. In that case, the Promoter must still provide the information and the winning entry to the Advertising Standards Authority if it asks for them.

18. The Promoter’s decision in relation to all matters concerning this Promotion is final and binding, and no correspondence will be entered into.

General Terms

19. By entering the promotion, all entrants will be deemed to have accepted and be bound by the terms and conditions.  All entry instructions form part of the rules.

20. This promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with, Instagram or Meta Platforms, Inc. Entrants are providing their information to the Promoter and not to Instagram. By entering, each entrant fully releases Instagram and Meta Platforms, Inc. from all claims and liabilities arising in respect of the promotion.

21. The Promoter reserves the right to amend, suspend or terminate this Promotion early in the event of exceptional circumstances outside of its reasonable control.

22. Nothing in these terms and conditions limits or excludes the Promoter's liability for death or personal injury caused by its negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for any other liability that cannot be limited or excluded by law. Subject to this, the Promoter will not be liable for any loss or damage suffered by entrants in connection with this promotion or the prize, except where the loss or damage is caused by the Promoter's breach of these terms and conditions or its negligence. Your statutory rights are not affected.

23. Unilever UK Limited is the Data Controller in respect of personal data collected through this Promotion. Entrants' personal data will be processed for the purpose of administering this Promotion (including verifying eligibility, running the prize draw, notifying the winner and arranging fulfilment of the Prize) by the Promoter and/or by its agents and service providers acting as processors on its behalf. The winner's full name and email address will be shared with Oceanus solely so that it can send the Prize code to the winner. Any personal data the winner provides directly to Oceanus when redeeming the code (such as delivery address and dress size) will be collected and processed by Oceanus as a separate data controller in accordance with its own privacy policy. Entrants' details will not be passed onto other third parties for any other purpose without prior consent. Entry data will be retained for 60 days after the end of the Promotion Period, and the winner's name and email address for 60 days after Prize fulfilment, after which they will be securely deleted. Entering this Promotion does not sign you up to receive marketing communications. 24. The winner may be invited to take part in reasonable publicity relating to the promotion, but taking part is optional and is not a condition of receiving the Prize.

25. These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales will have non-exclusive jurisdiction. Residents of Scotland or Northern Ireland may also bring proceedings in Scotland or Northern Ireland respectively.
